Bridal wear ft. Neda Fatima

Hey guys!

Here I am with a new wedding outfit post. A few days ago I posted about a sangeet party look. Well, this one is a bridal look and is pretty special to me as this is my first collaboration with a budding and talented designer Neda Fatima. She has started a new venture by the name ANT- Something big. You can follow that on Instagram and check out her collection to order.

Talking about the outfit, she have designed a beautiful net gown for the bride. For wedding outfits, no other color is as perfect as red and gold. The red net gown is beautifully designed, it looks quite heavy but at the same time is very comfortable to wear. A very good quality net is used for the design.

We put together this look by adding some gold and kunden work jewelry. Later on, Neda added the red dupatta with a broad golden border which turned the look into a complete bridal wear. She designed the gown to be plain and simple making it much comfortable to wear and thereby helping your priceless jewelry to stand out.

Here are a few pictures of the complete look.

Neda decided to add a golden dupatta to give more definition to the look. Here are a few pictures to get an idea of the look with golden dupatta.

The kunden work jewelry is adding so much to the look. Kudos to Neda for the selection of jewelry. She have a really good taste in accessories too.

#Beingbroke tip: Try to select simple outfits for your wedding and make it stand out by using some statement jewelry or heavy work dupattas. As after your wedding those heavy outfits are just kept aside packed, simple outfits can be worn later on in family functions or other ceremonies.

See you in the next post. Till then spread love and take care. Toodles.

From summers to winters...!!

Hey everyone!
I’m back with a new post. This one is for the confusing season when a sweater is too hot and a plain top is too cold. I know I’m a little late as cold winds have started to drop the temperature to 10 degrees. It’s time to take out oversized sweaters, fur coats, thigh high boots, super cute beanies etc. and style them in a lot of ways. Did I just mention all the major winter trends? Yes, I did.

Winters are here and that doesn’t mean we need to put away our summer dresses. We can revamp them and make them ready for winters too. In this post, I’m presenting one of the many ways of revamping your sexy summer dress to a cozy winter one.

So, I decided to wear a skirt as a dress and added my favorite fur coat to add winter vibes to the look. A winter outfit is incomplete without a pair of boots. Therefore, I added them too. You can also add a pair of tights if you feel cold. For accessories, I wore a choker from Koovs and added some simple metallic earrings with it and the look is complete.

I got this fur coat from Sarojini Nagar for 200rs. Such furry sweaters are available in good quantity and less price at all the local markets this season.

#Beingbroke tip: wearing your skirts as dresses, doubles your collection of clothes at the price of one.

See you in the next post. Till then spread love and take care. Toodles.

Sangeet Look Idea..!!

Hey guys..!!
Welcome back, long time no see huh?
I know.. my fault. I'm very inconsistent with this, but I'm trying to improve myself. Thanks for coming back though :)

So, as you all know Indian wedding is a huge affair. I mean there is a reason it is called The Big Fat Indian Wedding. Winter season in India arrives with the wedding season and the climate certainly do not affect fashion in weddings ;)

Well, coming to my style, I always put comfort first and that's what you can see here. I created a minimalist look by pairing a black bodysuit and a red colored long skirt together. I loved the fact that this puffy pleated long skirt was giving me some princessy vibes. With the dress, I added a silver choker and oxidized statement neckpiece. As the neckpieces were on point I kept the earring part simple. You can also use a body chain instead of these neckpieces. They are in trend this season. Don't forget to wear high heels as it's a LONG skirt.

The raw silk red skirt is designed and stitched by my younger sister, Shubhangi Verma, and the bodysuit is from Koovs. The skirt is a bit loose as this was her first attempt at stitching something, but I know she'll get better with time. I'll be showcasing her work every now and then.

Honest reviews are always welcome. As I said earlier, comfort and chic is my style and I created this look so that I can dance as much as I want and still look nice. Leave your comments in the section below if you liked it.

I'll be back next week with a new post..!! Till then spread Love and take care.

Going with the flow..!!

Hello loves!
As you all know that summer season have come to an end. So, in this post i'm bidding farewell to summers by styling one of the biggest trend this season Slit tops.

For this post I decided to wear a long slit top with a pencil skirt which was a real steal from our very own sarojini nagar. I know a lot of peopled styled the slit top in this way, but I really loved the style so I did it. For accessorizing, I decided to wear silver earings and a handmade ring that says "Love" and my comfortable black high heels.

I hope you people like the post. Keep showering your love and enjoy the festive season coming up. :)

Till the next post.
XOXO

Being Gothic...!!

Well, let me clear myself first. In this post "Being Gothic", I'm only referring to the clothing style of Goth people. They used to dress up in black, red, and other dark shades.

So for this look, I decided to wear a Black Maxi Dress that have a slit on one side with Red Pumps. To make the look more majestic I put on a Red lipstick. Finally, to complete the look, wore a black beaded statement neck-piece and yes this one works with anything and everything. At last added some chunky gold and black bangles and I'm done.

I tried to keep the look dark and dusky. Hope you people like the pictures. :)
